i consider myself an artist. i never said the best but its my own given talent. i started drawing at a young age and remember giving my art to my friends in elementary school(thats how young i remember). i had a weird obsession drawing victorian and 1800's women even at an early age. since i visited new orleans in the 5th grade ive also have had a strong liking to jesters/clowns since i collected my first one from there. i discovered polymer clay dolls in the last 2 years and have been trying to create a name of my own. i love a lot of other artist's works that sculpt fantasy and unique dolls. thats pretty much it about my deviantART self. ~CANDIS

i just wanted to take the time to say thank you so much HERE for voting me october's AOTM (artist of the month) & MVM ( most valued member) for ODA (ooakdollart.com)

it means so much to me! i never thought i would see my name for either of these. well not for a while atleast until i was more established as a OOAK artist. it's been a short but long journey for me. I started sculpting in 2007 but found myself expecting my 2nd blessing. i put sculpting and any art on hold really loosing myself for a while. once i bounced back theres been few bumps in the road but i am deteremined more than ever since receiving the most wonderful news of AOTM & MVM!

thank you all for making october 2009 one of the best months of my year!

thank you essie! you are such a sweetheart. i agree... i like to see who everyone else is behind their art. i was showing my friend your artwork on DA and she was like whoa...nice stuff. and then i scrolled down to your DA i.d. and she said " i wasnt expecting that!" . we were talking about how beautiful you and your blue eyes are! i had to submit a pic for the oda interview, and decided to post my pic here too! :giggle:
